I really appreciate all of you for coming back to groom your homeroom today and yesterday.

Our pink paint runs out! Still have some to go! Sigh! Need to buy a 1-litre tin for just that little area.
The lime-green wall turns out to be the most challenging 'wall' of all! So difficult to get the even tone. We need to paint it 2 layers. No bargain to get a good coat. Otherwise you will face the 'ugly' wall for the next 6 months!

We are going back on Friday, 10am to finish up the rest. Die die must finish it. jia you!

我的小妹 - my youngest sister

This is my 小妹. The youngest in my family.

I still rememeberd that when I was a teenager, I used
to bring her out in the evening to watch basketball match.
She was so young then, only a few months old.

Now that she has graduated with a degree in electronic engineering,
and work in a reputable bank in Malaysia, what a relieve to my
parents.

Basketball remain my passion,

my 小妹 is still my dearest 小妹 ,

sweet memories of taking care of her still remains,

now she has grown up,

she has her own world.

How fast time passed,

the brother has grown older,

passion and love remains unchanged.

小妹, I wish the best!

Hotel California - here I come!

today met my 2 old friends at MOE HQ to do some stuff

he picked me up at Bt Gombak MRT and drove me there

on the way, we listened to Eagles(wikiepedia ref)' latest release album

we talked about the Eagles' Hotel California,

we talked about why this pop rock band can last for so long,

The Eagle band was form in 1971, I was then a 4-year-old boy

the first Eagle song I hear was Hotel Calfornia, introduced by this friend, about ten years ago

i love this song after first time i heard it

imagine we still talk about the same song after more then 10 years later

what a song and what a friend of mine! friendship lives forever!

i told you i met 2 old friend rite?

now let me tell you about the 2nd one

this is the friend i met in 1989 while we studied in NUS (National University of Singapore)

i used to sleep in the lecture hall

he took all the notes, i copy after lessons
(please don't do it in Sec school, u can do so only after u get into a Poly or an U)

we went to the same company for interview after graduating from the U

we were colleague for about 13 years! of course now friends larh

he also fan of The Eagles

I celebrate my friendship with these two good friends!

now is the time to dedicate Hotel California to them

friendship lives forever! whatever you do for me lives on!

Other updates:

Last 2 days basketball matches at Overseas Family School for the boys.

We played 3 matches, first day won 1 lose 1. Missed the top 4. Enter top 8.

Second day, won another one, in top 6. That's all.

It is a small game, out of 12 teams, WRS is the top 6.

So to all the players 加油！

Our goal is North Zone top 4 in 2009!

This is the new season.

Meaning, there will be loads of competitions and matches going on from now till October!

I like it, my adrenaline always rose when I cheer them during the matches!

Cherry Tomatoes plants are planted in the school green house, I want committed volunteers - approach me if you are the one. You need to take initiative to tend to the plants and make records.

You learn at the same time.

From my site, ended my emo at last weekend. Movign on lah. So stressed when many of yuo asked thosed 'framed' questions to get last minutes tips. Sigh!

It is cherry tomatoes! I wonder after MYE, anybody still interested in learning? If you want to get involved, you need to sign up personally with me. In case when I 'disappear' into the air, you can continue to take care of the cherry tomotoes.

It will be very rewarding venture, I promised. Talking about eating cherries tomatoes plucked from the trees, surely it is marvelicious!

Feeling nervous this morning. Let miss Chris take attendance. I could not make myself to smile at the quadrangle. But someone smiled at me. You know who you are. My special. Thank you. You brightened my day.

I didn't even come down to the canteen during the the 1st paper break. Went to sec2 at 10.15am. They misbehaved when entered the exam vanue. I showed them my colour. Not feeling good at all. But just to make my job easier.

This evening, cooked some dinner. Chiobu already cooked some stew meat. I cooked some vege and baked a piece of salmon. James creatively decorated his and my plates before we ate. Asked him to take some pics to show. Like father, like son. He takes good pics uh?

Evening went to Mega Sports court behind 888 to watch ppl play basketball. Then go to church at 8pm.

That's what I want to express this evevning.
Though this morning I became more tanned after 1 hours plus of sun at Sembawang beach with Daniel, Jolene and Reyna. They had their share of ice-cream after their play, as usual. Had lunch at the bus interchange (to avoid expensive meal at shopping centre). Took a nap with Danile till 3.30pm. Felt like going out again but worried that chiobu cannot cope with the children. Decided to coach James maths. Time passed so fast! Time to cook dinner. Cooked three dishes this evening. Bitter gourd soup, sweet and sour pork (but it did not taste sweet and not sour at all) and stir fry baby kailan vegetable. That was for dinner. Of course had white rice lah. Daniel like the chinese song, don't why. He could not understand a bit. Till now, I have not smiled. My face has been expressionlessly flat.......... ok. that's enough.

Finally! Get to play again!

It has been for about two weeks since CCA stnd down. No sports, especially basketball in school for more a few weeks.

Finally, got to play with Reagan, Xavier, Peirong, Kian Xiang, Wai Siong, Leon and Wei Xiang! We were at the Woodlands Mega hard court.

Eh, I can touch the ring you know! That was a junior court lah. Heh heh you thought MrTan suddenly grow taller eh?

We were at the court behind WRS but too bad there were 2 groups of players already 'chop' the court and we had to change vanue.

Played till 9pm, for 1 hr only, I left, they continue don't know till when.

Anyway tomorrow is May day, no school, relax man! Oh you still have SA oh, I almost forgot.

I was like you last time, SA? Also play but I was very focus OK!

I told ppl I score 8 dist. in my o'level, ppl say I B.S. Not for me to show you here, else ppl copy my cert heh heh!
